This is an official CentOS 8 x86_64 HVM image built with a minimal configuration file, and only applies to the HVM instance type. The image contains a package that runs in Amazon Web Services, enables an SSH server, and allows users to log in. Note that this is the default CentOS-8 image we recommend everyone to use. It already contains relevant important security updates.
