FAQs for Marketplace purchase

1. Could I check our Marketplace bills via billing dashboard just as what we do for Amazon Web Services China cloud services?

Currently Marketplace bills cannot be checked via My Billing Dashboard. Ningxia Western Cloud Data Technology Co., Ltd. (NWCD), the operator of Amazon Web Services Marketplace, will send you the bills (payment demand) via email. Please be noted that the Marketplace billing will separate from your cloud service billing.

2. When does I receive the Marketplace bills (payment demand)?

For SaaS products with pay-as-you-go pricing, you will receive your Marketplace bill (payment demand) for all applicable fees and charges accrued for use of the Marketplace Content for the previous month at the beginning of each month. No bills will be sent if no usage is generated for the previous month. For SaaS contracts, you will receive the payment demand notification when your purchase order has been confirmed.

3. What kinds of payment methods do Amazon Web Services Marketplace China accept?

Currently we only accept domestic bank transfer. The payment information will be shown on your bills (payment demand), which NWCD will send to you via email.

4. Are the prices shown on the Amazon Web Services Marketplace China website inclusive of VAT?

No, prices for Marketplace Content shown on the Amazon Web Services Marketplace website do not include VAT. VAT will be separately charged in accordance with the applicable VAT rate.

5. What is the VAT rate for SaaS products?

Different products might apply with different VAT rate. You can find the VAT rate applicable for each product on the product detail page.

6. Which company issues Fapiao for the SaaS products?

NWCD issues Fapiao for Marketplace Content.
