CloudGuard Network Security with Threat Prevention & SandBlast
Overview
CloudGuard cybersecurity applies to Amazon Web Services, providing advanced, multi-level cybersecurity for the Amazon Web Services cloud environment and protecting cloud assets. Security features include a firewall, intrusion prevention system (IPS), application control, IPSec VPN, anti-virus, and anti-bot technology. CloudGuard cybersecurity allows secure VPN connections between Amazon Web Services and enterprise networks, data centers, and secure clients, simplifying setup, deployment, and management. CloudGuard cybersecurity includes SSL/TLS traffic inspection, supports traffic forwarding, and SNI to enable advanced threat prevention within secure SSL traffic. Check Point CloudGuard applies to the Amazon Web Services security blueprint and provides best practices for designing secure cloud-based deployments, allowing agility, scalability, and efficiency. The blueprint promotes the use of APIs to automate processes and supports the practice of Infrastructure as Code (Infrastructure As Code). The CloudGuard cybersecurity gateway will be deployed as a single gateway, as a high-availability cluster, or as an automatic scaling group through Check Point CloudFormation templates, or through automation tools such as Ansible and Terraform. Managed by a central security server, the BYOL (Bring Your Own License) distributed security gateway provides consistent security policy management, execution, and reporting across Amazon Web Services and hybrid deployments for a unified view.
