FortiGate is integrated at the API level with the Amazon Web Services platform. It can support main/dual-master high-availability deployment models with AZ and cross-AZ, as well as elastic autoscaling scaling through API to ensure stability and performance to the greatest extent possible. It also supports Transit Gateway, which can be used to help users build a cloud security service center to achieve centralized security control. Additionally, FortiGate supports direct single root I/O virtualization (SR-IOV) and C5n models for higher and more consistent performance. In terms of security, FortiGate can collect a lot of Amazon Web Services raw data, such as instance ID, instance type, subnets, security groups, AZs, tags, etc. Use the built-in lightweight orchestration engine to customize trigger conditions (instance connects to malicious IPs) and execution actions (call Lambda scripts to isolate instances).
