Usage instructions
To use Prisma SD-WAN virtual ION (Amazon Web Services version), follow these steps:
- Obtain a license: Contact your Palo Alto Networks account manager directly or submit an application at https://www.paloaltonetworks.com/sase/sd-wan#connect .
- Obtain a token/key: Visit https://stratacloudmanager.paloaltonetworks.com (设置 -> ION License Management) to obtain a token/key.
- Launch the appropriate Amazon Web Services CloudFormation template: Launch the appropriate Amazon Web Services CloudFormation template according to your use case: Existing environment (Brownfield): Deploy ION instances into an existing VPC. New environment (Greenfield): Create a new VPC with ION instances. New high availability environment (Greenfield HA): Create a new VPC and deploy 2 ION instances in two different availability zones.
- Claim and configure the device: After the image starts, the device will appear as “online-unclaimed” (online unclaimed) status in the Prisma SD-WAN tenant in Strata Cloud Manager. Please claim the device and configure it according to your needs.
