BIG-IP Virtualized Edition (VE) is an industry-leading application delivery controller and security services platform. From providing intelligent L4-L7 load balancing, traffic management, and SSL service offload to application access, acceleration, and security, BIG-IP VE always ensures that your applications are fast, highly available, and secure. Depending on your license, you can deploy the following modules: LTM — Intelligent L4-L7 load balancing, SSL/TLS termination and offload, health monitoring, connection state management, and application traffic programming control using F5 iRules. DNS — High performance DNS service with global server load balancing.
If you want to upgrade the BIG-IP VE in the future, select an image with 2 boot partitions. If you don't need upgrade space (and instead plan to create a new instance when a new version of BIG-IP VE is released), choose an image with 1 boot partition. Accelerate and simplify your BIG using CloudFormation templates from F5 Networks GitHub repositories.

Pricing and entitlements for this product are managed through an external billing relationship between you and the vendor. You activate the product by supplying a license purchased outside of Amazon Web Services Marketplace China, while Amazon Web Services provides the infrastructure required to launch the product. Amazon Web Services Subscriptions have no end date and may be canceled any time. However, the cancellation won't affect the status of the external license.

Before deployment: Create a key pair and VPC (if it doesn't exist) After deployment: SSH into the instance, use the username admin, and execute the following tmsh command to create the admin password: modify auth user admin password <your_password> save sys config log in to the web management interface: If only 1 network card is configured during deployment, use the https 8443 port for access; if more than 1 network card is configured during deployment, use the https 443 port for access; please confirm that your security group allows access to the above ports.
