Aggregators consolidate data from collectors while providing data retention and management capabilities through export, archiving, and purging operations. An aggregator can also be designated as a central manager, allowing for top-down management of all Guardium instances and a complete view of data stored across the environment from a single location.

We recommend using IBM Security Guardium 11.2 and above and the latest patch pack in Fix Central. Older versions can be archived and may contain bugs and/or security flaws.
