NOVASight
Overview
NOVASight is an engine that detects image content based on AI technology. The engine detects image content based on deep learning technology and automatically gives inspection results. NovaSight can be deployed to the customer's VPC and accessed via a private IP in the form of a RESTful API. There is no need to access an external network during use, and there is no SaaS subscription burden, which is convenient for enterprise application integration. It can be applied to automated content review and automated image filtering effects in Internet mobile applications and the Web.
NovaSight's AI detection engine for bad content images currently supports two types of image detection methods: 1. Direct API calls to upload and detect images 2. Specify S3 bucket objects for inspection. For details on how to use the API, please refer to the main page guide after starting the server to access it.
Highlights
- Safe and easy to use, easy to integrate applications. NovaSight runs in the form of a server in the user's VPC, and there is no need for IoT access. Customer applications access NovaSight through an API for intelligent image recognition, which is safe and efficient.
- It can be flexibly expanded to easily meet large-scale authentication requirements. Using EC2 as the carrier, NovaSight can be flexibly expanded horizontally with Autoscaling and ELB to easily handle massive image recognition requests.
- Amazon Web Services native platform support, no additional subscription fees. NovaSight can read images in the user's S3 for recognition, and can be easily integrated with Amazon Web Services. Customers don't have to pay per use, and the overall cost of a one-time payment is low.

64-bit (x86) Amazon Machine Image (AMI)
Amazon Machine Image (AMI)
An AMI is a virtual image that provides the information required to launch an instance. Amazon EC2 (Elastic Compute Cloud) instances are virtual servers on which you can run your applications and workloads, offering varying combinations of CPU, memory, storage, and networking resources. You can launch as many instances from as many different AMIs as you need.

Usage instructions
Step 1: Start a new EC2 server with this AMI. During the startup process, note that when configuring the Security Group (Security Group), you need to open the 8080 TCP port, which is the main port for accessing the NovaSight API. Additionally, you can deploy EC2 to any VPC, making it easy to integrate with other applications. If you need to authenticate images in the S3 bucket, you need to specify an instance profile role (IAM Role) during the configuration process to launch EC2. You can choose to create an existing IAM role or create a new IAM role with read-only access to S3. For how to associate roles with EC2 instances, please refer to https://docs.aws.amazon.com/AWSEC2/latest/UserGuide/iam-roles-for-amazon-ec2.html
Step 2: When EC2 starts normally, you can open your browser and go to NovaSight's API usage page through http://IP:8080/ , where IP is the IP address of the EC2 server you just started. On the page that opens, there are specific NovaSight API user guides for your reference.
Step 3: Invoke and integrate in the app. In your app, you can directly call the NovaSight API for image detection. NovaSight will return 3 types of results: erotic images, sexy images, and normal images. Your app can make further judgments and processing based on the results returned by the API, making it easy to automate content review and optimization, and keep your mobile apps and web platforms safe and worry-free.
