In distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks, attackers try to flood a network, application, or server with large amounts of traffic, causing communication interruptions and costly downtime. Zenlayer DDoS Protection (ZDP) is a proprietary, cloud-based anti-DDoS security service built on Zenlayer's widely distributed edge infrastructure. ZDP blocks and filters incoming DDoS traffic and CC attack traffic through a network of regional cleaning centers around the world to ensure that only clean, legitimate traffic is forwarded to the target site or application server.
