Overview
The Cisco Firepower NGFWV is a virtual version of the Cisco Firepower Next Generation Firewall.
Advanced security Advanced threat defense options include next-generation IPS, advanced malware protection, URL filtering, and application visibility and control. Use Amazon Route 53 for remote access VPN. Integrate with Amazon Transit Gateway for scalable inter-VPC communication. Automatically adapts to expansion and provides high reliability. Cisco Talos provides industry-leading visibility to detect and block advanced threats.
Consistent security Get consistent policies, enforcement, and threat protection across your entire environment. Inspecting encrypted traffic while automating risk ranking and impact tagging reduces the number of incidents to prioritize threats. Microsegmentation technology protects east-west traffic.
Unified management Use Cisco Defense Orchestrator (CDO) to unify management of physical and virtual devices. Can be managed by API, Firepower Device Manager, Cisco Defense Orchestrator, or Firepower Management Center (FMC). FMC for Amazon Web Services can be installed locally or on Amazon Web Services. It supports REST APIs and provides an HTTP-based interface for management, policy, and monitoring.
Unified security platform Cisco SecureX is a cloud-native, built-in platform in our product portfolio that enables simplicity, visibility, and increased efficiency.
