The Cloud WAF service uses an active security model based on machine learning technology to provide comprehensive protection against OWASP Top 10 threats and other vulnerabilities to achieve the best web application and API protection in the industry. The JuDuan Cloud WAF service provides dynamic security policies, with functions such as automatic false alarm correction, built-in DDoS protection, API security protection, and integrated robot protection to effectively protect data security.
Overview
- Comprehensive and accurate web security coverage provides comprehensive and accurate security coverage for known and unknown web application threats. With simple operations right out of the box, OWASP's top ten types of web threats can be protected, including injection, cross-site scripting (XSS), cross-site request forgery (CSRF), invalid authentication, sensitive information disclosure, and session management. Web security services can also cover attacks and threats other than the OWASP Top 10 list, such as the web threats listed by the Web Application Security Consortium (WASC). Web security services can terminate TCP connections, regulate client-side coding traffic, and then block various evasion techniques to achieve more efficient, accurate, and unavoidable passive security out of the box.
- Automatic protection against zero-day web attacks combines a passive security model (defining what traffic is prohibited and the rest is allowed to pass) and an active security model (defining what traffic is allowed to pass through and the rest blocked) to achieve optimal security coverage with minimal impact on legitimate traffic. Combining the two models enables fine-grained and accurate policy definitions, so misstatements and underreporting can be avoided.
- API security provides APIs that combine the characteristics of various active security models and passive security models. WAF Cloud further enriches flexible and expandable web application security solutions to protect APIs from known attacks and zero-day attacks.
- The fingerprint recognition function and activity tracking module of anti-robot program attack devices provide IP-related source tracking, which can help enterprises address threats caused by advanced bot programs, such as web scraping, web application DDoS, violent cracking attacks and clickjacking to crack passwords. The WAF service can detect the source running in a dynamic IP environment and the activity hidden behind the source NAT, such as an enterprise network or proxy. Even though the robot program can automatically change the source IP address, the device fingerprint cannot be changed. The WAF service can track device activity and correlate source security violations between sessions.
